Known for photographing minority groups such as the Bosozoku and Gothic & Lolita subcultural groups of Japan, Masayuki Yoshinaga's _Nippon Takaine _is the publications second edition since its initial release in 1999. Photographing the individuals and families whom have emigrated from their home countries in the hopes of economic success, the resulting images within the publication capture a wonderful potraiture of the varying cultures, religions and individuals in a celebration of differences and community, whom found themselves temporaily calling Japan home for a brief period in their lives.
Included within the publication is text written by Shimizu Minoru and Masayuki Yoshinaga available only in Japanese.
