Gypsies (1973-2022)
- With a view that is deeper than that of journalism and more personal than that of anthropology, the photographs in Imágenes gitanas, the result of a unique relationship between the author and the Spanish gypsy minority, reflect his experiences and complicity with certain groups of this group from 1973 until well into the 1990s.
- Initially, the photographs and texts sought to visualise the present of this ethnic and cultural minority, but rapid social change turned them into reflections of a Spain that has disappeared or is on the way to disappearing.
