Boyhood (Edt of 150)
Photographs: Joe Cruz
Publisher: Editions 1991 & Oddity
44 pages
Year: 2020
Comments: Stapled softcover, 21x14cm, color Xerox. Limited edition of 150 copies.
Boyhood by Joe Cruz starts the first release of the collaboration with Oddity.
'Cruz' work touches upon themes of culture, identity and traditions, often using found film footage from his family archives to his own photography- shot traditionally on camera and more recently with a handheld scanner. The scanner works mark Cruz' move into editorial, capturing behind the scenes imagery from fashion shows and interiors in a documentative way.
