This collection consists of 73 photographs taken by photographer Hiroyasu Nakai (1955-2016) during his visits to Tohoku, such as Aomori, Iwate, and Miyagi. He entered Hideko Hosoe’s photography workshop in 1976 as a third-year student, and then became a freelancer. He passed away suddenly in 2016. There are only a few photo albums of his work, including this book.
