Comments: Softcover with obi, 22 x 18 cm. Black and white images, text in English and Japanese. Pages only slightly yellowed, otherwise in excellent condition! Signed by Kazuo Kitai.
Photos taken during the 1970s during Japan's Narita protests. The farming villages documented here literally vanished underneath the runways of Narita airport and some of this agrarian lifestyle has vanished as well. Japan's protest photobooks have recently gained more attention and Kitai's art with them.
